they're two friends, laughing together, hanging out together, supporting each other, standing by each other.. on Y's birthday X offered her a gift, it was simple gift but she appreciate it cause it was from her friend..
They were sharing their stories all the times, Y thought that she find a best friend in this awful country. She used to visit X's store to support & see her friend & one day she got a shock.. she saw on the table infront of her friend a box with her gift to her for her 38th birthday. Yes, what she's seeing in her eyes is reality & not a dream. She had gifted her for her birthday a nice perfume set, & now there it is laying there infront of her with a price on it, & with confident, when Y's asked about this set, X's replied explaining how much the price & how good it is. Well if it was this good why you selling? or if you really love friend to gift you would you forget what they gifted you? are you really in need for money that you started selling your own things?many questions were struggeling in Y's head, many times her tongue wanted to betray her & shout that it's my gift to you & you're selling it back to me, but she pushed hard on her & shut her mouth. Y's is not a girl who sees something infont & not commenting on it, weither good or bad, like it or not, she is a sensitive honest person & fairs nothing.she was in a circle of questions, anger, shocks, it all got her mood down & she decided to through it in her friend face.
Finally, she came close to her & whisper:" why are you selling me the gift that I offered you for your birthday?" X's open wide her eyes & look at her shoked, trying to find words in her head to explain the situation; she can not deny the fact, it's there infront of both, with a price tag on it.
Y's said :"you know I paid much more than the price you have on it now".
X's replied :" oh my God, sorry dear, it's my mistake, my daughter brought the things from the house & I didn't check after her & couldn't remember this."
Oh yeah now she's blaming her daughter. Come on couldn't she find a better answer!!!!!
quickly she picked up the set from the table & put it behind next to her handbag but since that accident, Y didn't come back to her friend's office. Guess now she know what to gift her for her soon birthday...
