The Circle of Connections...

It is impressive yet weird how's the world is working nowadays.. It's never about who you are, what is your background or what you stand for, no, it's about who you know & how fast you can get things move..
Interesting how the circle of references & contacts work to get your things done even more quicker than you ever think. 
I needed to get a driver license & tried to go through the procedures but it was so difficult to get it due to many factors, I know how to drive but I needed a push to get a soon appointment for my test. So I asked  one of my friends, Samer told me that he have a friend who know someone at the MOUROUR & that he will ask him for an advice. After 2 days, Samer called me to inform me that his friend need my papers & so I sent it to him, & exactly the next day I received a call from an unknown number:
"Good day, is this Erica"
"yes , may I know who is this?"
" Ohhh,  I am Usama, Samer's friend, I got your papers & it's all settled. you have a test after tomorrow, will meet at the mourour".

Wow, that was so fast, I hear some people took them months to get an appointment for their driving test, whilst it took me only 3 days & Usama !
Well I needed it fast, the day came & I met Usama & we sat at the mourour in charge officer's office, had a cold drink, a nice chat & we left.. 2 hours later a driver delivered the license to my office..

I called Samer to thank him & asked him if I should get his friend Usama a gift as a thank you:
" all it need is a nice dinner & that would be enough."
"so it be.. you set the date & place & it will be on me."

2 months later, Usama called asking about if I can recommend a teacher for his son, well it happened that I have a lot of friends teaching at school, & specifically one was looking for a part time job.

Happy to set up an introducing meeting for them..

Bottom lines, things happens faster & easier if you have good contacts...
